Das Ka Dhamki Review: By selecting a variety of screenplays, Viswaksen has become one of the most promising performers of the current age in the Telugu cinema industry, demonstrating his acting ability. However, his most recent films, like “Paagal” and “Ori Devuda,” have not received the public reception he anticipated, despite recouping their investment costs.
After his extended cameo in “Mukhachitram,” Vishwaksen has released “Das Ka Dhamki,” which he has also produced and directed. Let’s get into a thorough analysis of this film to determine if Vishwaksen is able to delight the audience with his direction and performance in this film.

Verdict
Every year, hundreds of films are released around the world, leaving storytellers without any fresh inspiration. They are now selecting simple or previously used plots and adding unexpected components to make them visually appealing. Das Ka Dhamki is one such film with a story that has been depicted on screen numerous times before, but Vishwaksen stated confidently that the film will contain a number of intriguing elements that will undoubtedly entertain the audience in theatres.
There are no interesting or surprising components in Das Ka Dhamki that can link the audience to the film in any way. The absence of realism in both of Vishwaksen’s characters will prevent the audience from connecting with any of his characters. Uninspiring plot twists are revealed in the film’s second half, and it concludes on a note that is merely satisfactory.
When it comes to performances, Vishwaksen‘s dual character act is acceptable, but his expressions appear repetitious from his past films, and he may need to work a little harder to make his portrayal more effective on screen. Nivetha Pethuraj has nothing to do in the film, and her facial expressions are subpar. Rao Ramesh performed admirably as always. Rohini and Ajay performed admirably in the restricted parts available to them. The performances of Mahesh Achanta, Super Aadi, and all other actors were commensurate with their characters.
Technically, Das Ka Dhamki appears OK. Songs composed by Leon James are excellent, and the “Padipoindhe Pilla” song will be enjoyed by the audience at the theatre. Dinesh K. Babu’s cinematography should have been better, and DI appears a bit oversaturated. Mass audiences will enjoy the action sequences choreographed by Todur Lazarov Juji, Venkat, and Rama Krishnan. Production values are decent.
As a filmmaker, Vishwaksen is not particularly noteworthy. His previous film, “Falaknuma Das,” was a remake, but he made it look intriguing with a few modifications; however, the plot and production of “Das Ka Dhamki” would fail to wow the audience. This film will remind us of several older films, like “Rowdy Alludu,” “Goutham Nanda,” Nani’s “Gentlemen,” and a few others.
Ultimately, “Das Ka Dhamki” is a mediocre action drama with fewer exciting and compelling situations than its competitors.
