The Zee5 OTT platform continues to strengthen its regional content library by offering films and web series across multiple languages, aiming to attract viewers from every part of the country. From Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi to several other languages, Zee5 has consistently expanded its diverse content slate.
Adding to its growing Marathi lineup, Zee5 has officially announced a brand-new original series titled “Devkhel.” The makers recently released the official trailer, confirming that the crime thriller series will premiere on January 30, 2026, exclusively on the Zee5 streaming platform.
Devkhel is set in a mysterious village called Devtali, where a shocking murder occurs every Diwali. Over time, the recurring crimes fuel beliefs among villagers that the deaths are caused by a mythical curse, triggering a gripping investigation that uncovers hidden secrets and unsettling truths.
The series features a strong ensemble cast including Ankush Chaudhari, Arun Nalawade, Prajakta Mali, Yatin Karekar, Mangesh Desai, Veena Jamkar, and several others in pivotal roles. Chandrakant Gaikwad has directed the series.
With its intriguing premise and suspense-filled narrative, Devkhel is expected to be a major addition to Zee5’s regional originals and a must-watch for fans of crime thrillers.
