Movie Verdict

Goodbye is a contender for a family audience due to its entertainment value, drama, and other elements. Despite the fact that the film is about life, family, friendship, and everything else, the narration makes it challenging to watch. Perhaps if more time and effort had been invested into establishing the comedy in the movie, it would have been more entertaining to watch. The movie does have a few funny moments, but it also includes a lot of dull, protracted scenes that will make the audience lose interest quickly. It’s amusing to build up humorous situations and speech in the setting of death.

Amitabh Bachchan always makes for enjoyable on-screen acting. In every role he plays, this actor excels. His comedic timing is unmatched, and you’ll laugh out loud at the way he reacts to dramatic situations with his face. Another performer who always produces top-notch work is Neena Gupta, who completely astounded everyone with the minor role of Gayathri. Rashmika Mandanna has improved greatly since her last Telugu and Tamil movie and looks fantastic in this one, although needing some work on her facial expressions in dramatic circumstances. Sunil Grover and Ashish Vidyarthi did good work and delivered a few laughs in their respective roles. The supporting characters all performed admirably and helped the story along.

The technical aspects of the movie seem to be good. Amit Trivedi’s original soundtrack and music for the movie are energizing and appropriate. The majority of the movie was shot indoors, therefore director of photography Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti did a respectable job. The level of production quality is great.

For the director Vikas Bahl, who earlier wowed audiences with Queen and Super 30, this movie was only somewhat successful. He made an effort to give the movie substance despite its weak plot by going into great detail about its themes, but in the end, it came across as dull and drawn out.

Goodbye is a charming family movie worth watching in the end because of Amitabh Bachchan’s performance and a few heartwarming scenes.
