In the year 1971 on January 10th, Gopichand Achanta was born in the city of Vijayawada in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. After finishing college, he moved to Hyderabad. When they were kids, brothers Ram and Gopichand Achanta bonded over their shared passion for cinema. Rapid expansion followed the founding of 14 Reels production.

Namo Venkatesha was Ram Achanta’s debut film as a producer. The following project they worked on was Dookudu with Mahesh Babu. In the years that followed, they made a string of critically acclaimed films like 1–Nenokkadine, Legend, Action, Aagadu, Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Endukante Premanta, Eega, Tuneega Tuneega, Aagadu, and Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha. They are currently hard at work on the production of Sarkaru Vari Paata, which stars Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh.
