Her father Geetha Kishan is from Adoor, Pathanamthitta, while her mother Veena Kishan is from Vaikom. She is natively bilingual in Malayalam. She spent a significant portion of her life in Chennai, India.

Gouri G. Kishan played Jaanu, a younger version of Trisha’s character, in a Tamil language movie from 1996. (2018). She eventually got the position because her uncle in Dubai had heard about a casting call and sent along the news. Gouri, who was a senior in high school at the time, was asked to audition for the part.
Her on-screen performance received positive reviews, which opened up further acting opportunities for her. She made her Malayalam cinema debut with the 2019 release Margamkali (2019). She was set to make her acting debut with Sunny Wayne in the movie Anugraheethan Antony, but because of production issues, Margamkali was released ahead of the original film.
She shared a role in the movie Margamkali alongside Bibin George. She appeared alongside her friend Sarjano Khalid in the 2019 short film Hi Hello Kadhal, which was made under the direction of lyricist Vinayak Sasikumar.
