After that, she went to Punjabi University in Patiala and graduated with a bachelor’s in mathematics. Panag later enrolled at Punjab University in Chandigarh to pursue a master’s degree in political science. She has always been passionate in sports, public speaking, and debating.

Gul Panag was born on January 3, 1979, in the Indian city of Chandigarh. Her late father, Lt. General Panag, was a revered member of the family and served in the Army. Her mother’s name is Gurjit Kaur. Shebir Singh is the name of another sibling of hers.

Modeling was Panag’s first move in the world of business. She received the Miss India title in 1999. In the same year, she also participated in Miss Universe. She has since appeared in a variety of advertisements. She serves as one of the faces of the Tata Sky television network, along with superstar Aamir Khan.

In 2003’s Dhoop, a film starring Ashwini Chaudhary, Panag made her acting debut. She has acted in a number of big-budget movies over the years, including, to name a few, Jurm, Dor, Manorama Six Feet Under, Summer 2007, Student of the Year 2, and 420 IPC.
