Harish Shankar was born in Dharmapuri, Telangana, on March 31, 1979. He was brought up in the BHEL Township in Hyderabad. After he finished school, he went on stage with Seeta Nilayam and Lalitha Kala Mandiram. He then started writing and making scripts for movies.
