Jagapathi Babu Education
In Machilipatnam, Jagapathi Babu was born to veteran producer and director V. B. Rajendra Prasad. Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he eventually found his way into Telugu films. In Hyderabad, Telangana, at Chaitanya College, Jagapati Babu earned a degree in philosophy.
Jagapathi Babu Early Life
She made her film debut in the Telugu film Simha Swapnam (1989), which her father produced and was directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao. His debut film, Peddarikam (1992), was a critical and financial success. Gaayam, Ram Gopal Varma’s breakthrough film, was released in 1993.
It wasn’t until the release of the 1994 hit Subha Lagnam that he was able to break through to the family audience and become a household name. He won the 1996 Nandi Award for Best Actor for his role in S V Krishna Reddy’s Maavichiguru. Two of the featured films, Subhakankshalu and Pelli Pandiri, were both huge successes in 1997. He won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film Antahpuram in 1998.

He won the Nandi Best Actor Award for his debut performance in the 2000 action flick Manoharam. In the years 2003–2005, his films Kabaddi, Athade Oka Sainyam, Pedababu, and Anukokunda Oka Roju were all commercial successes. In 2006, he appeared in both Samanyudu and Pellaina Kothalo. For his work in the 2007 film Lakshyam, he was awarded the Nandi and Filmfare Best Supporting Actor prizes.
Madrasi was his first effort at Tamil, and he appeared in the 2012 Tamil film Thaandavam as the villain. That’s why he got the starring role in Jai Bolo Telangana, a film that won several awards and was praised by critics. He played a police officer in the 2012 Kannada film Bachchan. Compared to the competition, his performance was head and shoulders above. After an absence of several years, Jagapati Babu returned to the Tamil film industry with the 2013 release of Puthagam.
