Aggarwal was raised in a Bombay-based family of Punjabi immigrants. While her father, Suman Aggarwal, is an entrepreneur in the textile industry, Kajal’s mother, Vinay Aggarwal, is a confectioner and the company’s manager. Nisha Aggarwal, an actress in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films, recently got married to actor Karan Valecha. She is Kajal’s sister. Since she was a young girl, she has dreamed of earning an MBA, and she intends to do so very soon.

Kajal Aggarwal received her secondary education in Mumbai, India, at St. Anne’s High School and Jai Hind College. She majored in mass media with an emphasis on advertising and marketing at Mumbai’s Kishinchand Chellaram College. She secured her first real job during her final year of college while working as Smira Bakshi’s intern at Loreal. During one of the photographs, the photographer noticed her modeling potential and urged her to pursue it. Her first South Indian film co-starring Nana Patekar came about as a result of the distribution of her photographs.
At first, she intended to obtain an MBA from INSEAD in Paris.
She made her acting debut in a supporting role in the 2004 Bollywood film “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na.” After that, she was cast in the lead role opposite actor Kalyan Ram in the 2007 Telugu film “Lakshmi Kalyanam,” which was helmed by industry titan Teja. Sadly, the movie was a failure. She rose to fame thanks to the commercial and critical success of the Telugu movie “Chandamama,” which was directed by Krishna Vamsi and starred her.
