Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

After multiple delays, Karthikeya 2 finally debuted in theatres on August 13, 2022. Let’s examine the film’s review to see if it’s worthwhile to watch.

Karthikeya 2 Movie Review

Story

Karthikeya, a physician by profession, has always been fascinated with solving long-standing puzzles. Karthikeya investigates the odd occurrences in Dwaraka, as he did in Subramaniapuram in the first instalment. Some of these old beliefs and Lord Krishna’s influence can be traced in Dwaraka.

Verdict

The film’s narrative and general pace may remind you of prior entries in the series. On the other hand, the film’s premise is intriguing, and the combination of mystery and fantasy aspects keeps us interested until the end credits. The movie’s intermission contains several turns, and the second half maintains suspense until the conclusion. The film’s conclusion was satisfactory and unambiguous.

According to the performances, Nikhil’s portrayal of Karthikeya, a character who is continuously searching for solutions to unanswered problems, once again captivates the audience. Anupama Parameswaran delivered a magnificent performance. Although Anupam Kher is a skilled actor, the dubbing voice does not match his voice. You will be amused with both Srinivasa Reddy’s comedic timing and Aditya Menon’s amazing acting in a horrible character. Every other performer performed as expected under the given conditions.

Except for a few visual effects shots, Karthikeya 2 looks fantastic from a technical standpoint. While the music in Kaala Bhairava is only passable, the film’s ambient score is superb. If you’re seeking for a film that will leave you speechless, look no farther than Karthik Gattamneni’s most recent effort. The Kashmiri settings are especially breathtaking. The editing was straightforward.

Chandoo Mondeti appears to have recovered his filmmaking mojo despite the failure of his previous feature Savyasachi.

Karthikeya 2 should only be viewed in a theatre in order to truly appreciate its magnificent sights and production qualities.
