Babu made a cameo appearance in the movie Needa when he was four years old, in the year 1979. After then, he contributed as a young artist to various Telugu movies. At St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, he completed his higher secondary education. He then graduated in commerce from Chennai’s Loyola College. In the year 1999, he acted in Raja Kumarudu, playing the lead. The movie was a commercial success and gave the actor recognition in the business; as a result, the talented actor never looked back.

The Kannada public fell in love with Mahesh Babu. He has only appeared in over 40 films thus far. His 2011 film Dookudu was dubbed in Hindi and posted on YouTube as “Dookudu” on February 2, 2022, via the “Mango Indian Films” YouTube channel. Dookudu Kannada dubbed version had more than one million views on YouTube as of July 2022.

His 2012 release Businessman was given a Hindi dub, and on October 23, 2022, it was posted on YouTube as “Brave Man” by the “Kannada Filmnagar” YouTube channel. The Brave Man Kannada dubbed version had more than 06 Million views on YouTube as of July 2022. His other films with Kannada dubbing are available on OTT services!

His 2001 release, Murari, was translated into Kannada as Gopi (2006). Okkadu, a 2003 release of his film, was translated into Kannada as Ajay (2006). His 2006 release Pokiri was translated into Kannada as Porki (2010). His 2011 work Dookudu was translated into Kannada as Power (2014).
