Om Raut Education
Balmohan Vidyamandir, an Indian, finished his education in Mumbai. Soon after completing his secondary education, Om Raut applied to Shah and Anchor College of Engineering in Mumbai to pursue a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering. Later, he earned a postgraduate degree from Syracuse University in New York. In 2022, Om Raut was working toward a PhD in the business of film.

Om Raut was born on Tuesday, December 21, 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is an astrological Sagittarius. Om Raut’s father is noted journalist and Rajya Sabha member Bharatkumar. His mother, Neena Raut, is a television producer. In 2006, Om Raut wed Preeti Kothari. The pair is not a parent.
Om Raut Career
Om Raut began his career in the Bollywood film industry as a young artist. He appeared in theatre and commercials a lot when he was younger. He made his acting debut in the 1993 film Karamati Coat, in which he played the lead character of young artist Raghu. When Om Raut was a little boy, his mother, Neena Raut, is credited with introducing him to the entertainment and film industries. He began working as a writer and director for MTV Network in New York City after completing his scholastic training. After arriving back in India, he joined DAR Motion Pictures and assumed the position of Creative Head. Later, he worked for the Valuable Group, which supported UFO-Moviez, as vice president of creative business.
Om Raut made his feature film directing debut in 2015 with the Marathi movie Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush. Neena Raut Entertainment, a production firm, made the film. The film Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush, which was based on the life of Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a well-known Indian social reformer and independence fighter, won Om Raut the Best Debut Director prize.
In 2020, he made his Hindi film directing debut with Tanhaji. This film won various awards and accolades at the national level after its release.
According to a promotional video for the film that was released in October 2022, Adipurush, a retelling of the Hindu epic Ramayana, was scheduled for release on January 12th, 2022. The cast of the movie includes Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, who play Rama and Ravana, respectively.
