Parampara Thakur, who was born on February 28, 1992, in Delhi, India, has always had a passion for singing.
Her family supported her in choosing this line of work. Her motivation came from the fact that Parampara’s father is a singer as well. He once appeared on stage with her.
Since she was a young child, she had a passion for singing, and at the annual day event at her elementary school, she even gave a performance. She began singing advertising jingles for the Rajasthan state government when she was just 13 years old.
On December 1, 2020, in Mumbai, Parampara Thakur and Sachet Tandon were married in a lavish ceremony. In 2015, Sachet and Parampara both made an appearance on a reality series with a singing theme. Currently, they collaborate to write music for Bollywood films.
Parampara Thakur Career
With her father’s approval, Thakur applied for the inaugural season of the singing reality series “The Voice India” on &TV in order to show the world her inner potential. She reached the finals as a result of the judges’ and audience’s unanimity in praising her singular voice quality and range. She advanced to the finals and came in third; later, in 2016, she collaborated with Sachet Tandon, another contestant from Voice India, to produce an EP as a duo.
The songs “Subah ki Train” and “Bhoomi” from the movie “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,” starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, featured their first composition.
They then worked on Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Yamala Pagla Deewana Phir Se. For Bollywood movies like Kabir Singh, Saaho, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Pati Patni Aur Who, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and Street Dancer 3D in 2019 and 2020, the team wrote a number of inspirational and number-one songs.
