Director Sudha Kongara, who earned widespread acclaim for her impactful storytelling in Tamil cinema, rose to national prominence after the massive success of Soorari Pottru. Following that achievement, she announced Parasakthi, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The film was released in theatres earlier and received a mixed response from audiences in Tamil Nadu.
Now, Parasakthi is gearing up for its digital debut. The Zee5 OTT platform has officially acquired the streaming rights for the film. According to the latest update, the movie is scheduled to premiere on February 07, 2026, exclusively on Zee5. Along with the Tamil version, the film is also expected to stream in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on the same day, expanding its reach across multiple regions.
The ensemble cast of Parasakthi includes Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa Murali, Sreeleela, Rana Daggubati, Basil Joseph, Daali Dhananjay, Kulappulli Leela, and Prakash Belawadi, among others, adding strong star value to the project.
The film is produced by Aakash Baskaran under his banner, while Sudha Kongara has handled both writing and direction. Technical departments are led by editor Sathish Suriya, music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar, and cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, ensuring solid production values throughout the film.
