Pavan Malhotra Education
Malhotra attended Manav Sthali School and was nurtured in Nawabganj, Old Delhi. He came from a Punjabi Hindu Khatri family and was born in Delhi. having graduated with an arts degree from Hansraj College of Delhi University.
Pavan Malhotra Early Life
Malhotra was raised in Nawabganj, Old Delhi, and attended Manav Sthali School. His parents were Punjabi Hindu Khatris, and he was born in Delhi. a graduate of the Hansraj College for the Arts at Delhi University. He got his first taste of the movie business as a costume department assistant for Gandhi (film). As a production assistant after that, he worked on movies including Khamosh, Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho!, and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. After dabbling in the Delhi theatre scene, Pavan moved to Mumbai where he began his career in television as an assistant on the Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi set.
Pavan Malhotra Career
Pavan began his work as a wardrobe assistant for the movie Gandhi. He assisted in the production of Jaane Bhi Do Yaro by Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho. He moved to Mumbai in 1984 and started working as an assistant for the TV show Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi. He made his acting debut in 1986 on the television show Nukkad. Later on, he provided writing for several well-known television shows, including Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Khidki, CID, Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny, and Zameen Aasmaan.
Besides television, Pavan is also very involved in the Hindi film industry. He has contributed to more than 100 movies throughout his 35-year career. With Khamosh, he made his feature debut in 1985. Earth (1998), Fakir (1998), The Perfect Husband (2003), Black Friday (2004), Eashwar Mime Co. (2005), Don – The Chase Begins (2006), Blood Brothers (2007), De Taali (2008), and Ek Tho Chance are some of his other well-known movies.
