Pooja Bhatt was born in Mumbai on Thursday, February 24, 1972. His father, the renowned Indian director, producer, and screenwriter Mahesh Bhatt, is a titan in the business. Although her mother’s name is Kiran Bhatt, Loraine Bright used to be her maiden name before she wed Mahesh Bhatt.
After divorcing Pooja’s mother, Mahesh Bhatt wed Soni Razdan, a British actress and film director who had previously worked with Pooja’s mother. Two step-siblings, Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, were also born to Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja’s original parents.

She started her modelling career as a child, and her very first TV ad was for Pears soap. When she was just 17 years old, she made her acting debut in the Hindi film Daddy (1989) starring her father Mahesh Bhatt as Pooja. In the 1991 Hindi film Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, she gained international popularity alongside Aamir Khan from India. Sadak (1991), Sir (1993), Kranti Kshetra (1994), Chaahat (1996), and Border are some of her other well-known Hindi movies (1997).
She founded Pooja Bhatt Productions in 1996 to make her own movies. She made her acting debut in the 1997 movie Tamanna and her producing debut in the 2003 movie Paap. She has helmed a number of Hindi films, including Jism (2003), Jism 2, Zakhm (1998), and Dushman (1998). She has produced several Hindi movies, including Holiday (2006), Dhokha (2007), and Kajraare (2010). She has also worked as a production designer for a number of Hindi films, including Paap (2002) and Jism (2003). After an almost eight-year absence, she made a comeback in the 2009 Hindi film “Sanam Teri Kasam,” in which she starred opposite Saif Ali Khan.
