Prabhu’s parents are devout Hindus of the Lingayat sect. Mugur Sundar Sr. was a choreographer for South Indian films. His mom’s name is Mahadevamma. Prabhu’s two brothers, Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad, are also dancers. It was said that Prabhu and Ramlath, another dancer, were dating. They had been living together since 1995 and had a covert wedding. In order to please her future husband, Ramlath, a Muslim woman, switched to Hinduism. Ramlath was changed to Latha, and even her name was changed. As time went on, they welcomed three sons into the world: Vishal, Rishi Raghavendra Deva, and Adhith Deva. Their eldest son, Vishal, lost his battle with cancer and passed away in 2008. Prabhudeva Career
Prabhu’s dad is a famous South Indian film choreographer. With his father’s encouragement, Prabhu followed in his footsteps and began working as a choreographer in the film industry. With the film Vetri Vizha, he made his debut as a choreographer in Tamil cinema (1989). Before he made it onto the big screen as an actor, he worked as a dance choreographer for more than a hundred Hindi and regional films. Songs like “Muqabala Muqabala” (Hum Se Hai Muqabla, 1994), “Urvashi Urvashi” (Hum Se Hai Muqabla, 1994), and “Kay Sera Sera” (1996) are all examples of songs he choreographed that became hits (Pukar, 2000).
