Rakesh Roshan Early Life
Rakesh Roshan was born on September 6, 1949, to Ira Roshan and composer Roshan. His dad composed the scores for prominent Bollywood films, while his mother composed the music for the T-Series bhajan CD Krishna Kanhaiya Ram Ramaiya. Rajesh Roshan, one of Rakesh’s siblings, continues their father’s musical direction career.

After establishing himself in movies like Paraya Dhan and Khoobsurat, Khatta Meetha and Devata and Khandaan, he won the most praise for his portrayal of Suraj, a slacker who marries a wealthy girl solely to grab a piece of his father-in-riches, law’s alongside Jaya Prada in Kaamchor (1982). The movie was well-liked by the audience, and Rajesh Roshan, the brother of Rakesh, was responsible for the music. Sonu Nigam, a well-known playback singer, played Rakesh’s nephew in the film.
Rakesh had a number of opportunities to demonstrate his acting prowess, but he never achieved superstardom. He made the decision to try his hand at directing after seeing how difficult it was to make a life as a major actor. With the enormous success of his debut movie, 1987’s Khudgarz, which starred Shatrughan Sinha and Jeetendra, he made the switch to directing. His second picture as a filmmaker, Khoon Bhari Maang, was a critical and commercial success in 1988. In the movie, his son Hrithik Roshan made his acting debut opposite Ameesha Patel, another rookie. The film won the Best Film and Best Director awards at the National Film Awards, as well as the Filmfare, Apsara, and Zee Cine Awards.
