Ravi Kishan Education
On July 17, 1969, in the Indian city of Bombay, Maharashtra, Ravindra Shyamnarayan Shukla entered the world. His upbringing was heavily influenced by both Jadavati Devi and Pt. Shayam Narayan Shukla. Ravi Kishan may have graduated from Rizavi College in Mumbai with a degree in commerce, according to available evidence. For nearly seven years, the Kishan family lived in Kerakat, Jaunpur district, Varanasi division, Uttar Pradesh. He’d always shown an intense interest in the performing arts. Throughout his career, Ravi Kishan has appeared on several television programmes as a guest star. He hosted the reality show Raaj pichhle Janam ka on NDTV Imagine and a variety of programs on the Mahua Bhojpuri network. Both Mani Ratnam and Shyam Benegal, two of Bollywood’s most illustrious filmmakers, worked with him on projects.

Ravi Kishan Career
Pitambar was Ravi Kishan’s first film, and it came out in 1992. As a contestant on Bigg Boss, he attracted a lot of attention and finished in second place. He won the award for Best Actor at the 2008 ETV Bhojpuri Cinema Samman ceremony. He shot to fame after making appearances on popular Indian reality shows like Ek Se Badhkar Ek – Jalwe Sitaron Ke.
In 2008, he was the host of the celebrity dance reality show Bathroom Singer and a host on the Zee shows Naman: Ek Sansani and Ek Se Badhkar Ek – Jalwe Sitaron Ke. For two years, NDTV Imagine’s Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka was hosted by Ravi Kishan. In 2010, he worked as a production assistant for both Shyam Benegal and Mani Ratnam.
He auditioned for and competed on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 in 2012. To enter politics, Ravi Kishan first ran as an Indian National Congress candidate in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur constituency. In the 2014 midterm elections, he came in sixth place, receiving 4.25 percent of the vote. Former Congress Party supporter Ravi Kishan joined the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party in 2017. At the national level, he is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Indian state of Gorakhpur.
