Saakini Daakini Telugu Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

Saakini Daakini Movie Review: It is very rare for a Telugu movie to have two female leads, but it seems interesting. The movie Saakini Daakinin with Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra is a direct copy of the Korean movie Midnight Runners. The movie came out on September 16, 2022, because the trailer for Saakini Daakini was so good at getting people interested. Read my in-depth review to find out if this movie is worth your time.

Saakini Daakini Movie Review

Shalini (Nivetha Thomas) and Dhamini (Regina Cassandra), who come from different places and meet at a police training camp, see a kidnapping at midnight, which starts the story. The rest of the story is about how Shalini and Dhamini try to solve the kidnapping case. Unfortunately, they have to practice in the same room even though they often fight.

Movie Verdict

The people who made Saakini Daakini did a good job of adapting Midnight Runners for a Telugu audience, so the movie is true to the original. Even though the story seems simple, the movie has everything it needs to keep people interested from the beginning to the end. The movie doesn’t get better until the story moves to the school and gets more interesting there. The first part of the movie is funny because of how well Nivetha and Regina get along.

In the second act, the kidnapping raises the stakes, and Nivetha and Regina’s attempts to solve the case keep the audience interested all the way to the end. But the sad story just didn’t work.
Regina and Nivetha are both well-known actresses with their own styles. Even though Nivetha has never played the role of Shalini before, her Telangana accent helps her a lot in this movie. Most of the emotional tension in the movie comes from Regina’s character, Dhamini, whose backstory is the focus of the movie. The rest of the cast, especially Vennela Kishore, also gives great performances.

Sudheer Varma’s first movie made an impression. With Naveen Chandra in the lead role, Super Over marked the return of crime drama master and producer Swamy Ra Ra. Super Over starred Naveen Chandra. Even though we mostly went to see this movie because it was funny, he did a great job remaking it.

Even though Richard Prasad had done night scenes before, the training scenes in Saakini Daakini were not well done technically. The songs by Mikey McCleary and Naresh Kumaran didn’t stand out at all, but their background music is great.

Last but not least, you should watch the comedy Saakini Daakini.
