Verdict

Salaam Venky opens with some endearing and lovely scenes between a mother and her son. These two characters get to know one another and develop a close relationship in the first half of the film. A gap in emotion occurs after a few minutes of building emotional moments. More tearjerking emotional scenes that are played exceptionally well can be found in the second half of the film. Despite the lack of excitement in the film, there are a few good scenes that will make viewers feel something, and a few cameos that will surprise you at the conclusion.

As Sujata, Kajol is incredibly believable and likeable in her acting. People can easily identify with her character and draw parallels between her and their own mothers.

Another outstanding actor in the Hindi film industry is Vishal Jethwa. Although he has only appeared in a handful of films, he possesses the talent to hold viewers’ attention whether he is portraying the pitiful Venky in Salaam Venky or the cruel Sunny from Mardaani 2. He’s going to succeed in the acting world. All of the actors, including Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Aahana Kumra, Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, and others, did a good job with their roles and what the scene required. The presence of Aamir Khan in the film is a plus.

From a technical standpoint, Salaam Venky appears to be competent. The songs and background music by Mithoon complement the film and create the ideal mood. The cinematography was handled by Ravi Varman, which is yet another fantastic aspect of the film. He captured some exquisite images that vividly depict numerous scenes. There are no scenes that are out of place thanks to excellent editing. The film’s production value is appropriate for the story it tells.

In addition to being a fantastic actor who has received numerous national awards for her work, director Revathy is also a fantastic director who knows how to bring out the best in her cast. She did a good job of evoking strong emotions in the audience through moving, well-written scenes and characters. Despite a few minor issues here and there, she still managed to produce a nice, clean film that gave us advice on how to handle difficult situations in life.

Salaam Venky, as a whole, is a moving and compelling film that you should watch because it was made with honesty and has an honest message.
