Santhosh Narayanan Biography
Santhosh Narayanan Education
He received his formal education at RSK Higher Secondary School in Tiruchirappalli. Santhosh Narayanan graduated from Thiruchirapalli’s J. J. College of Engineering and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. After completing his education, he began his career in the recording industry as an engineer, arranger, and programmer before transitioning to independent music production and film scoring.
Santhosh Narayanan Early Life
Santhosh was born on May 15, 1983, in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. Although he was born into a Hindu family, not much is known about his parents. He graduated from Tiruchirappalli’s RSK Higher Secondary School with a certificate in education. J. Santhosh Narayanan then obtained his degree from and married Meenakshi Iyer, a renowned Australian-based classical Indian singer. He went to the esteemed J. College of Engineering and Technology to study. He is Meenakshi’s second husband because she has recently divorced her first husband. Santhosh’s stepsons and stepdaughters are Dheekshitha Venkadeshan and Sudheekshanan.
Santhosh Narayanan Career
He made his directorial debut as an independent music director in the 2012 Tamil film Attakathi directed by Pa. Ranjith. He received assistance from the show’s producer, “C,” in getting the job. V. Kumar wrote a song in the Gaana genre for the movie and gave the then-unknown singer Gana Bala the chance to perform it after hearing him sing at a funeral and working in his studio Santhosh. “Aadi Pona Aavani” and “Nadukadalula Kappala,” two gaana songs, were recorded for the film. Both songs are recognised for reintroducing gaana to Tamil film and for helping Gana Bala become a household name.
Only Tamil movies were directed by Santhosh Narayanan. He released albums for four different soundtracks in that year, the first of which was for the love story Cuckoo. Critics praised the music CD that accompanied the movie Cuckoo, calling it “alluring and engrossing.”
Prior to Jakes Bejoy, he was composing the music for Sarpatta Parambarai, a 2021 movie starring Dulquer Salmaan. This was the composer’s fifth project with Pa. Ranjith, starting with their first movie Attakathi.
Pathonpatham Noottandu and Anweshippin Kandethum are two of his upcoming Malayalam films, and Anel Meley Pani Thuli, Gulu Gulu, and Buffoon are three of his upcoming Tamil and Telugu productions, respectively.
