Movie Verdict

One of Bollywood’s most underused actors is Taapsee Pannu. She has created some intriguing screenplays and films that showcase her abilities and demonstrate her acting prowess. In recent years, Hindi filmmakers have become accustomed to producing sports dramas and biopics. We have seen numerous films based on the true tales of numerous sports heroes, which could end up seeming similar if the narrative is not properly handled.
The plot of a character who overcomes all of life’s challenges in order to accomplish a major goal is a fairly recurrent theme in past films, but the screenplay is what distinguishes this one. Despite the fact that many of the scenes resemble those in other biopics, the screenplay contains some engaging parts that make this film worth seeing. The movie will undoubtedly motivate the ladies out there, despite a few plodding and tedious sequences in the first and second halves.
In a part with many nuances, Taapsee Pannu excels once more. Although she played her part well, we have the impression that she repeats herself because we have already seen her in Rashmi Rocket, where she plays an athlete. It is time for her to research the scripts she is picking since if the movie has a similar plot, the performance can be interchangeable.
The movie seems good technically. The music of Amit Trivedi is enjoyable yet not very unique. The camerawork by Sirsha Ray was excellent, and the film’s production values appear to be decent. The film’s director, Srijit Mukherji, did his utmost to make it look fascinating through the use of his production values and script.
Finally, Shabaash Mithu is a moving true story that needs to be seen in a theatre.
