Siddharth finished his secondary schooling at the DAV Boys’ Senior Secondary School in Chennai, India. Indian universities including S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai and Kirori Mal College in India. Over time, he attended and graduated from Mumbai’s S P Jain Institute of Management and Research with an MBA.

After Rang De Basanti, Siddharth appeared in a slew of other films, including Bommarillu, Aata, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, Oye!, Striker, Anaganaga O Dheerudu, 180, and many more. In 2012, he released his first work under his production firm, Etaki Entertainment Private Limited.

After finishing school, Siddharth worked as an apprentice under commercial director Jayendra and cinematographer P. C. Sreeram, who both helped him land a position as an assistant director on Mani Ratnam’s “Kannathil Muthamittal.” In the film, Siddarth makes his debut as a passenger on a bus. Later, he auditioned for the lead role in Shankar’s Project “Boys,” alongside Genelia D’Souza, Bharath, Nakul, Thaman, and Manikandan. Prior to the 2004 release of the Shankar film, he signed on to star in the political drama “Aaytha Ezhuthu” opposite Madhavan, Suriya, and Trisha, directed by Mani Ratnam. In 2005, Siddharth made his screen debut in “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana,” a Telugu film directed by Prabhu Deva. He was named Filmfare’s Best Telugu Actor for his work in the film, which was praised by critics.
