Movie Verdict,

Despite the fact that there is no such thing as a police tale anymore, filmmakers continue to strive to construct films with a police theme. “Alluri” is an example of how they are striving to generate intriguing stories with a police theme. In the film’s promotional materials, Sree Vishnu stated that despite being a biopic about police enforcement, moviegoers will never be bored. When you actually see it, however, you get the opposite impression.

Taniella Bharani, Suman, Raja Ravindra, Prudhvi Raj (30 Years), and Ravi Varma were all fantastic actors, but Kayadu Lohar received no screen time. Sree Vishnu does well in the role of Rama Raju despite having never portrayed a cop before. We should appreciate seeing him in all of his different guises and incarnations.

The plot wasn’t bad, but Pradeep Varma couldn’t compose interesting moments.

Technically, Alluri isn’t really noteworthy. While Raj Thota did a wonderful job with Arjun Reddy, he was unable to make Alluri as visually or commercially appealing. The rest of the technical crew did a wonderful job, and while Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s songs fall short, his music is superb.

Last but not least, Alluri can only be performed by followers of Sree Vishnu.

Plus Points:

  • Few action blocks
  • Sree Vishnu Performance

Minus Points:

  • Boring Screenplay
  • Routine Scenes

Rating: 2.5/5
