The Malayalam movie Cinema Company was Sruthi’s debut film. She also appeared in Thekku Thekkoru Desathu in addition to Call Me @. In Francis’ Call Me @ and Nandu’s Thekku Thekkoru Desathu, she portrayed a technician and a reporter, respectively. She will play the lead role in the upcoming Kannada film Lucia, which is being directed by Pawan Kumar. It was the first time she had dubbed herself into a movie, and she played two characters: an actress and a girl from the middle class. Because of its popularity, Lucia has been translated into other Indian languages.

Sruthi’s outstanding performance earned her a spot on Rediff’s list of the 2013 Most Impressive Kannada Movie Debuts. The Kannada movie Dyavre from the following year featured her in yet another part. The film received largely favourable reviews from critics. She was given the opportunity to play a part in director Harsha’s movie Bhajarangi, which would have starred Shivraj Kumar, but she was unable to do so. She portrayed Srinagara Kitty’s love interest in Jacob Varghese’s 2014 road movie Savaari 2. She then appeared in Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s first Tamil film as a director, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe. She began filming A. P. Arjun’s Rhaate shortly after the release of Lucia because she had already signed a contract for it. She portrayed a modest country girl in the movie. She was simultaneously working on two movies for her upcoming feature: the independent Tamil Nadu film Nila and the Kannada film Sipaayi by Rajath Mayee.

Additionally, she has agreed to appear in the upcoming Godhi Banna movies. Hemanth Rao’s Sadharna Mykattu and Balaji Sakthivel’s upcoming feature, Ra Ra Rajasekhar, are both directed by him. He went by the name Godhi Banna. Sadharna Mykattu’s success persisted both in terms of critical acclaim and at the box office. She received compliments for how she portrayed Dr. Sahana. She then made an appearance in Mano Murthy’s film Maadha Mathu Manasi, which also starred him in the lead role. She gained even more notoriety in Kannada cinema with the films Urvi, directed by B.S. Vismaya’s Telugu translation, Kurukshetra, has not yet been made widely accessible. She continued her career in Tamil and Malayalam cinema with Solo, which was directed by Bejoy Nambiar and featured her opposite Dulquer Salmaan.

Along with Danish Sait and Sumukhi Suresh, she was a part of the new generation of Kannada actors in the supporting role in the critically acclaimed film Humble Politician Nograj during her peak. Later, she co-starred with Sanchari Vijay in Mansore’s Nathicharami, which was nominated for a National Award and garnered much more accolades. Film critic Karthik Kermanu responded, “There isn’t a finer actor than Sruthi,” when asked who might play a character that illuminates the sexual needs of single women in urban middle-class areas. Her eyes convey the weariness of everyday life. Keyur Seta of Cinestaan praised her performance as “simple, nuanced, and FLAWLESS.” She is now seen working on the film Aadya starring Chiranjeevi Sarja and Chaitanya KN.
