Movie Verdict
People like fun entertainment more than stories, which is why Krishna Vrinda Vihari did well at the box office even though it didn’t have a plot. The funny parts of Swathimuthyam put it in the same category. Recently, a number of Telugu movies have become well-known because they have interesting blocks. But if we look at the story, it might not work out.
The first half of the movie starts with the main character’s date with the other main character. During this time, we learn more about their relationship and follow them on their journey. Since the first act of the play didn’t build suspense, the first half of the movie is mostly made up of funny scenes. The second part of the story gets exciting once there is tension and the main character has to deal with his whole family. When the flow stops, Vennela Kishore comes in and keeps us happy until the end.
Bellamkonda Middle-Class Melodies won Varsha Bollam a lot of fans, and now she has a well-written role that she does well in. So do Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, and Pragathi, and the rest of the cast. Ganesh’s first role was as a young boy in this movie. He is good at showing how he feels, but his performance shows that he doesn’t have much experience.
Lakshman K. Krishna’s first movie as a director is Swathimuthyam. He was only partly successful at making the movie and making people laugh, but the play he wrote about it should have been a lot better.
Technically, Swathimuthyam is fine, but Suryaa’s bad photography, many oversaturated frames, and bad colour grading make it so. But Mahati Swara Sagar’s few songs worked well on screen, and he and the rest of the technical crew all added to the background score.
Swathimuthyam is a fun movie with a lot of interesting parts.
