Taapsee Pannu went to school in the Ashok Vihar area of Delhi, where it is believed she graduated from Mata Jai Kaur Public School. Soon after graduating from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology in New Delhi with a degree in Computer Engineering.

It was in New Delhi, India, that Taapsee was born on August 1st, 1987. Although she has entered the world of software development and plans to include her sister Shagun Pannu in future film projects, she first got her start in acting. She was discovered while she was trying out for the Channel V Get Gorgeous talent contest and promptly decided to make modelling her full-time occupation.
Taapsee Pannu Career
Tapsee began her career as a model in 2004 after appearing on the Channel V show Get Gorgeous. After that, she was featured in a slew of TV and print commercials. She placed first at the 2008 ‘Miss India’ competition, taking home the prizes for ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face’ and ‘Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin. Reliance Trends, Coca-Cola, Pantaloon, Tata Docomo, and Vardhman all recruited her as a brand ambassador at some point.
Taapsee decided to leave the modeling world in 2010 to focus on her acting career. Jhummandi Naadam was the first film in which she acted.
Taapsee made her cinematic debut in the same year, with the Tamil film Aadukalam. The film was a commercial success thanks in large part to Taapsee’s stellar performance. The 2011 Malayalam film “Doubles” was her first cinematic role. Bollywood film “Chashme Baddoor” (2013) marked Taapsee’s debut.
