His birth family is Hindu and comes from Bengal. Nand Kumar Das, the father of Nand Kumar Das, was an arranger for R. D. Burman, Salil Chowdhary, and Satyajit Ray as well as a blues and jazz musician. His mother, Sarmistha Barman, is a musician who used to play the piano and guitar in her home Punjab. Tanishk Bagchi Career
Tanishk Bagchi and Vayu Srivastava formed the musical combo “Tanishk-Vayu” at the start of their careers. They composed the musical compositions for well-known Indian television shows including Thapki Pyar Ki and Dance India Dance.
With Vayu, he made his debut in Bollywood with the song “Banno” from the movie Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015). His first composition was the song “Bolna” from the movie “Kapoor and Sons” (2016).
Bolna, The Humma Song, Badri Ki Dulhania (Title Track), Tamma Tamma Again (Remake), Baarish, Sweety Tera Drama, Rangtaari, Dholida, Dilbar, O Saki Saki, Hauli Hauli (Remake), and Aankh Marey are just a few of the popular movies and albums for which he composed the music. Only a few of the albums and singles for which he wrote the music are Leja Re, Vaaste, Choodiyan, Nai Jaana, and Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi. He made his Telugu debut in 2018 with the song “Adbhutam” from the movie “Lover.” His Malayalam language debut was as “Psycho Saiyaan” in the 2019 movie “Saaho.” He also contributed to the Telugu remake of the song.
