Movie Verdict

Thor: Love and Thunder deliver spectacular visuals and action, regardless of how fantastic or terrible the story is in other superhero films. However, the film included a number of entertaining elements that worked well and kept you engaged for a while. The film opens nicely with the introduction of Thor’s persona, but thereafter, it deteriorates into a series of ineffectual scenes.

We may argue that this is the first romantic comedy superhero film in the MCU, given the beginning of the film contained a few action sequences and comedic scenes before switching to more serious action, although the humor was not sustained.

However, Chris Hemsworth’s performance as Thor is outstanding, as he makes you laugh in several sequences due to his impeccable comic timing. Christan Bale’s performance as Gorr steals the show, while the rest of the actors did well in their respective parts. Thor and Jane’s chemistry in the film worked out, and their relationship is handled so nicely.

Although Taika Waititi was successful in maintaining spectator interest throughout the film, he should have concentrated more on the script.

Thor is technically brilliant; the visual effects, cinematography, and music are all faultless.
Thor: Love and Thunder is an absolute must-see in theatres for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
