Unni Mukundan Education

Unni Mukundan was born on September 22, 1987 to Malayali parents Mukundan Nair and Roji Mukundan. Prajyoti Niketan College in Pudukad, where he studied journalism and English literature, awarded him his degree (Thrissur). Ahmedabad, Gujarat is where his parents raised him. In the beginning of his career, he worked with Motif, which later became TTEC.

Moviegoers first saw Unni in the 2011 Tamil adaptation of the Malayalam film Nandanam, Seedan. Unni debuted in Malayalam films with Babu Janardhanan’s Bombay March 12, which starred Mammootty. He won the award for best newcomer at ceremonies held on March 12 in Bombay by SIIMA, Asianet Film Awards, Asiavision, Jaihind TV, Amrita TV, and Vanitha Film Awards. The T. K. Rajeev Kumar film Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty, in which he appeared as a supporting character, was directed by Kumar.

The film Mallu Singh, directed by Vyshakh, was a watershed moment for Unni (2012). The movie was so successful, it was in theatres for almost a hundred days.
