Vasishta N. Simha was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1988, in Ramanathapura, Hassan, Karnataka. He attended Sadvidya School for his secondary schooling after receiving his primary education at Sharada Vilas Education Institute, both in Mysore. Later, with the goal of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in computer applications, he enrolled at Basavanagudi’s National Degree College in Bengaluru. He had a lifelong affinity for the theatre and the music business. From an early age, he had a passion for performing and music.

In 2011, Vasishta made the decision to leave his position as a software engineer and pursue acting in Kannada movies. He has previously worked on the unreleased movie Hubballi Hudagaru. Arya’s Love, his first movie released in theatres, served as his debut (2013). He received his big break in the part of the movie’s main antagonist in Raja Huli (2013), a remake of the Tamil film Sundarapandian (2012). His next movie role was in Rudra Tandava, a 2014 version of the Tamil film Pandiya Naadu (2013).

Later, Vasishta appeared alongside Nikesha Patel in the multilingual movie Alone directed by JKS. Although the movie in which he played the male lead earned mixed reviews, it did serve as his entry into the Tamil film industry. He will make his acting debut in the Tollywood flick Narappa in 2022.
