Simbu, who was last seen in Suseenthiran’s Eeswaran, has a big lineup of upcoming projects that are at different stages of production. Venthu thaninthathu kaadu is the Hattrick collaboration of Simbu and Gautham Vasudev Menon after After Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010) and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016). Also, the both have collaborated for a short film called Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn during the 2020 lockdown. Vels Film International is producing the project, and maestro AR Rahman is onboard as the music composer.
