Verdict

The Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution, which places importance on freedom of speech and expression, is represented by the movie title 19(1)(a). The movie’s plot revolves around one’s right to free speech and the ability to express how they feel about any circumstance, just as the title would imply. Like all other Malayalam films, this one has a very slow pace, but the storyline is interesting, and the well-designed characters keep you interested in what happens next.
Vijay Sethupathi, who can adapt to any type of role, once again demonstrates his acting prowess. Nithya Menon performed admirably in her role and looks stunning in casual attire. Despite having less screen time than the film’s other two leading actors, Indrajith gave a strong performance. All other actors, including Indrans, Deepak Parambol, and Srikanth Murali, contribute their performances as needed.
Technically speaking, Malayalam films are always enjoyable to watch. The cinematographer Manesh Madhavan captured some stunning images for 19(1)(a), and a few of the film’s locations are a visual feast for viewers. Once more, Govind Vasanatha’s music is impressive. The background music in the movie is relaxing and fits the scenes. Even though In dhu VS is directing a feature film for the first time, she did a good job of showcasing a straightforward plot with straightforward production, and she undoubtedly makes an impression with her screenplay.
Last but not least, 19(1)(a) is a captivating drama that can be streamed for some outstanding performances and production.
