In the beginning of his career, he held a number of part-time jobs, including working night hours at a call centre and selling cell plans for Idea Cellular and Bharat Petroleum.
He relocated to Hyderabad after completing college to join a regional theatre company. He applied to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune in 2005 with the goal of becoming an actor and was accepted. After that, he began appearing in plays at the theatre.
