Movie Verdict

The fact is Chiranjeevi fans and movie lovers have been missing Vintage Chiranjeevi for sure and Waltair Veerayya is such a film that going to full fill the wish of fans and movie lovers. However, the movie starts off with a brilliant introduction of Chiranjeevi, and it then jumps into a song, however, the film dealt with out and out the commercial way, and that too with an outdated screenplay template.

The first went with the right amount of Chiranjeevi mark comedy, action, and dance that surely satisfy fans for sure but it’s very tough to engage the film those who look something new in the film, and the interval block worked out quite well created the curiosity to watch the latter half. The second half also follows the same style of narration, though everything looks routine although Chiranjeevi engaged us with his vintage swag throughout the film and Ravi Teja’s entry lifts the pace of the film to another level.

Chiranjeevi as Veerayya is brilliant and his look, body language, and comic timing surely remind us of Vintage Chiranjeevi he carried the entire film on his shoulder, Shruthi Hasan looks good in songs but she has less screen time in the film and the rest of the cast did well as per the story requires.

Director Bobby has done a good job in presenting the film and he succeed in bringing back Vintage Chiranjeevi but he partly succeeded in narrating the film.

Technically, Waltair Veerayya looks good, Mythri Movie Maker spent a whopping budget to deliver a good product and Arthur A Wilson’s cinematography is another advantage for the film, Devi Sri Prasad disappointed with his music and his background score is partly good and the rest of the technical team did their best.

Overall, Waltair Veerayya is purely made to satisfy Chiranjeevi fans but this film might be like those who are waiting to see Vintage Chiranjeevi.

Plus Points:

  • Dance
  • Chiranjeevi
  • Comedy
  • Action
