Kamal Haasan Early Life
When Haasan was only four years old, he made his acting debut in the film Kalathur Kannamma, for which he was awarded the Presidential Gold Medal. He had a burning desire to be a film director.

Kamal Haasan Career
Starring as a youngster in the 1960 film Kalathur Kannamma, he made his acting debut at the time. However, he eventually returned to the industry, this time as a dance assistant. He first appeared on screen in “Maanavan” in 1970, performing a little dance number. Starting off in a supporting role, he made his acting debut in the film Arangetram.
Kamal’s break came with the movie “Apoorva Raagangal” in 1975. His first film in Bollywood was the 1981 version of his film “Maro Charitra,” titled “Ek Duuje Ke Liye.”
After the success of his film Vikram in 2022, Kamal Hassan started a massive charity drive. Suriya, who portrayed Rolex in the film, received a costly Rolex as a gift from the producer, who also provided motorcycles and a car to the crew.
