Ravi Teja was born on January 26th, 1968, in the city of Jaggampeta in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. His parents, Rajya Lakshmi Bhupatiraju and Raj Gopal Raju, provided him with a stable home environment from which to develop his character. His father was a pharmacist, while his mother was a stay-at-home parent. Raghu and Bharath are two of Ravi Teja’s kids who have followed in his footsteps and become actors. Teja spent much of his childhood in the northern portion of India due to the multiple moves his father made for his business. Following completion of his formal education, he worked as a teacher in Bhopal. Ravi went at the prestigious N.S.M. Public School of Vijayawada.
