Movie Verdict

Alipiriki Allantha Dooramlo included mostly unknown actors and actresses and was released to theatres with no fanfare. The film has so high production values that it’s difficult to believe it was done by non-professionals. The protagonist in the film decides to take the money because he believes it will improve his life in every way. Despite the lack of strength in either half of the tale, the film manages to hold our interest until the very end. This is achieved through the use of surprising and engaging sequences and plot turns.

Even though he has only been in one film, Raavan Reddy proves to be a superb performer (Pedavi Datani Matokatundi). As a result of his complex character, he has room to develop. He radiated charisma on screen, which suggested he really cared about the role he was playing. Sri Nikitha does a great job in spite of her small role in the production. The actor who played the hero’s best friend was equally good. All of the supporting cast members had outstanding performances, and the plot proceeded.

From the exterior, Alipiriki Allantha Dooramlo appears to be in good health. The composition by Phani Kalyan and the performance of the iconic song “Tirupati” are two highlights. The credits indicate DGK as the cinematographer, although the images aren’t very clear. Satya Giduturi did an outstanding job editing the manuscript. Production values are extremely low.

The film’s script and direction by Anand keep viewers engaged from beginning to end. A first feature film always has a few hiccups in the production department, no matter how talented the filmmaker.

Definitely make an effort to catch Alipiriki Allantha Dooramlo this weekend. If you go into this film without preconceived notions, you will appreciate the acting and production.
