Movie Verdict

Wonder Women is one such film that emphasises human emotions more than conventional filmmaking. Although this film’s premise is pretty simplistic, its people and the situations they find themselves in are what truly set it unique.

Each character will occasionally cause you to ponder the survival efforts of those around them. This film also educates viewers on pregnancy-related fears, myths, and emotional swings. However, because the film takes its time to develop the characters and the setting, the pacing may not be to everyone’s liking.

All of the actors in this film deliver excellent performances in their individual roles. Parvathy Thiruvothu is another performer who excels in every role she is given, while Nithya Menen also played her part wonderfully. After a lengthy break, Padmapriya has returned to the film industry, and her performance in this film is outstanding.

Amruta Subhash is an exceptional actress who is underrated in the Hindi film industry. Nadia Moidu appeared stunning on-screen while performing. Both Sayanora Phillip and Archana Padmini did an outstanding job in their respective roles. All supporting actors performed as required by the plot.

Wonder Woman looks good on paper. Background music by Govind Vasantha created the appropriate atmosphere for the emotions depicted on screen. The film’s director, Manesh Madhavan, made an effort to capture picturesque settings. Praveen Prabhakar edited the film flawlessly, and the running time is ideal. Excellent production values.

The director, Anjali Menon, once again demonstrated her skill in writing and portraying emotions on screen. Despite the film’s apparent slow pace, the narration requires it to establish the characters and situations in great detail.

Overall, Wonder Women is a fantastic film that you should watch this weekend on the Sony Liv OTT platform for a good emotional drama.
