India’s Madurai Kamaraj University and Karaikkudi Alagappa University both awarded Charlie master’s degrees in arts and philosophy, respectively. He decided to concentrate on the part comedians played in the growth of Tamil cinema from 1937 to 1967 for his M.Phil. thesis.
Charlie Early Life
Charlie was born in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu on March 6, 1960, in the Kovilpatti neighborhood.
