Pa. Ranjith Biography
Pa. Ranjith Education
Ranjith was born in Karalapakkam, Chennai, to Tamil Hindu parents. He was raised in Chennai, where he also attended the Government College of Fine Arts and received his degree. He has a wife and a young daughter and has settled down. We will soon add more details.
Ranjith started working as an assistant on Shiva Shanmugam’s Thagapansamy in 2006, not long after receiving his college degree. Later, he works with Venkat Prabhu and N. Linguswamy. He has worked on movies with the number 600028 set in Chennai in addition to movies shot in Goa.

In 2011, Ranjith started shooting his first major motion picture for C.V. Kumar. The new romance comedy Attakathi, starring Dinesh and Nanditha, just debuted. Despite having a little budget, the movie still made millions of dollars at the box office.

In 2011, he started work on Attakathi, a love comedy starring Dinesh and Nanditha, which would serve as his first full-length movie for C.V. Kumar Production. The movie was profitable despite having a small budget. Following the success of his first movie, the following year he collaborated with Karthi on another, the hugely successful Madras, which is generally regarded as the year’s top box office performer. Then, in 2016, Kabali, which set a new box office record in the Tamil film industry, brought Pa. Ranjith’s dream collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth to fruition. He’s this time collaborating with Rajinikanth on Kala, his upcoming movie.
