Karthick Naren Education
Naren went to and graduated from Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He then registered for mechanical engineering classes at Kumaraguru College of Technology. He decided to drop out of a mechanical engineering programme in his third year and pursue a career in filmmaking instead.
He quickly gained notoriety as one of Tamil cinema’s most celebrated directors after debuting with the highly successful thriller Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. Naren made the decision to stop going to school while he was in his third year of mechanical engineering at Kumara Guru College. He then moved to Chennai and started working in the film industry as Dheeraj Vaidy’s assistant. The son of Mr. MNG Mani and Mrs. Saratha Naren, he never thought about going into the film industry. His mother teaches chemistry at Avinashilingam University, and both his father and mother are academics who work as consultants for non-governmental organizations. Dheeraj Vaidy taught him the ropes, and he then set out to write his own script.
