Tusshar made his acting debut in the 2001 movie Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, starring opposite Kareena Kapoor. He received a Filmfare Award for his efforts because both his acting and the movie as a whole received favourable reviews. He then acted in the Esha Deol-starring movie Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa.
Khakee (2004), Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005), Golmaal (2006), Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012), and Shootout at Wadala are among the films in which Tusshar appeared (2013). In the 2017 Bollywood smash film Golmaal Again, he portrayed Lucky. He also made a brief cameo in the Aankh Marey song from the Simmba movie. Chaar Din Ki Chandni was produced and co-produced by Tusshar (2012). He has even taken part in a “Fashion for a Cause” occasion where money was raised for homeless children.
