She attended the Army School in Bareilly, India, the La Martiniere Girls School and St. Maria Goretti College in Lucknow, the Newton North High School and John F. Kennedy High School in Newton, Massachusetts, and the John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, respectively. She continued her education in Mumbai at the Basant Singh Institute of Science and Jai Hind College.

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, on July 18. She was raised in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India, where she was born. Due to her parents’ jobs, she spent her childhood moving about to places like Delhi, Chandigarh, Ambala, Ladakh, Lucknow, Bareilly, and Pune. She has been given the nicknames Piggy Chops, Mimi, Sunshine, and PC by her loved ones. Early on, she made up her mind what she wanted to do professionally. She is too independent and conscientious as a person. She rose to fame as a result of her versatility in a range of roles. In 2016, the Indian government presented her with the Padma Shri.
She is the middle child of three in her Hindu family, who is not wealthy. Ashok and Madhu Chopra, her parents, were both physicians who served in the Indian military. Her sibling, Siddharth Chopra, is the youngest Chopra sibling and is also an entrepreneur. On December 1st, 2018, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas exchanged vows in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. She made her acting debut in the Tamil movie Thamizhan in 2002, playing the lead character Priya.
