Vindhya Victim Verdict Review: Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been doing pretty well in all languages, and now her long-delayed investigation drama Vindhya Victim Verdict has finally come out without any advertising. But the movie’s trailer caught people’s attention, and the movie itself looks interesting. Let’s look at the review and decide if the movie is worth seeing or not.
Story
V3 is based on real events, and the story is about a middle-class girl named Vindhay (Paavana) who was raped by a gang and didn’t get justice. However, when two similar cases happened in the same city, people pushed for justice, and a human rights activist played by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar got the police to reopen the case. During the investigation, some dark truths about democracy came to light.

Verdict
The film gets off to an interesting start with Vindhya’s brutal murder. It then dives into the investigation of the case, which draws us into the story and keeps us interested in what’s going on. Even though the pace of the first half slows down at times, there is just the right amount of drama and emotion, and the way the dark truths of a murder case are revealed makes us want to watch the second half.
The second screenplay is very interesting because the story takes place in three different times, and the murder of Vindhay reveals many mysteries that happened in different cities. The second half keeps the audience’s attention by talking about how Schedule Tribes are treated unfairly. The length of the movie gets boring after a while, and the second half could have been more exciting.
Talking about the acting, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar does a good job with three different roles, but she really showed her acting skills when she played a human rights activist. Adukalam Naren was great as a middle-class father, especially in the emotional scenes. Paavana, Esther Anil, and the rest of the cast did their best in their roles.
Technically, Vindhya Victim Verdict looks good. Siva Prabhu did a good job with the cinematography, and Allen Sebastian did a great job with the background score, which made many scenes better. Nagooran, the editor, could have cut the second half of the movie shorter, but the rest of the technical team did a good job.
Director Amudhavanan’s movie “Quota,” which won an award, showed how hard it was for poor children to achieve their dreams. In his new movie, “Vindhya Victim Verdict,” he spoke out against discrimination, the power of politicians, and how hard it is for regular people to get justice. He talked about a lot of things in the movie, and those parts are well placed in the script, but he could have told the story better.
