After “Sanju” was a big hit, the actor worked on “Brahmastra” for almost three years, and his most recent movie, “Shamshera,” was a flop. After a year off, the actor showed up in movies like Roy, Bombay Velvet by Anurag Kashyap, and Tamasha. Even though his work in Tamasha got him a nomination for Best Actor at the 2015 Filmfare Awards, none of these movies did well at the domestic box office.
