Kurup (2022) is a Malayalam film based on the story of the most wanted criminal starring Dulquer Salmaan, Shobita Dhulipala in the lead role along with other artists. Music of Kurup composed by Sushin Shyam and editing of the movie done by Vivek Harshan. The movie is initially scheduled to release on 28 May 2022 but after seeing the current pandemic situations it has been scheduled for a debut in OTT.

Kurup is one of the most anticipated Mollywood movies of 2022. Starring popular actor Dulquer Salmaan and Made in Heaven fame Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead. The Srinath Rajendran directorial will be released in five languages – Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. Kurup will also star actor Tovino Thomas, Sunny Wayne, Manoj Bajpayee, Suresh Oberoi, Shine Tom Chacko, and Indrajith Sukumaran in pivotal roles.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s home banner, Wayfarer films, and co-produced by M-star, the filming for the movie has taken place in multiple locations such as Dubai, Mangaluru, and in the interiors of many north Indian states.
Cast & Crew
Dulquer will be essaying the titular role of Sukumara Kurup, a real-life fugitive. Nimish Ravi, who rose to fame after his work in the Malayalam film Luca, has been roped in as the cinematographer, while Kurup has the script and dialogues by KS Aravind. Sushin Shyam is on board as the music composer for the venture.
