Karthi Upcoming Tamil Movies List: Karthi is still riding high on the success of his movie Kaithi, which his fans have been waiting patiently for. Pre-production on a sequel is well under way, and we may soon hear something official. Check back for updates on when his new movies will be out, but in the meantime, don’t miss his latest, highly anticipated movie, Ponniyin Selvan, which comes out in theatres on September 30, 2022.
He worked as an assistant director with director Mani Ratnam on the movie Aayutha Ezhuthu. Mani Ratnam had given Karthi a part in the same movie before, but he turned it down and stayed on set as an assistant. In 2006, Karthi was chosen to play the main role in Ameer’s third feature film, Paruthiveeran. Before he starts acting in Ameer for Paruthiveeran, Karthi gets some advice from his dad and brother.
When it came out in 2007, Paruthiveeran became a fan favourite right away. Karthi won a number of awards, such as Best Actor and Best Debut in Filmfare. After that, he worked with Selvaraghvan on the fantasy movie Aayirathil Oruvan, which had been delayed. At the same time, he was in the romantic drama Payya with Lingusamy. Both of these movies came out in 2010, and both went on to do very well at the box office.
