Chiranjeevi’s Godfather Movie Review: The megastar Chiranjeevi’s last movie, “Acharya,” was a critical and commercial failure that made his fans very unhappy. Even though there were bad rumours about his “Acharya” movie, Chiranjeevi’s “Godfather” has exceeded pre-release expectations and has been met with more excitement than ever before. Let’s look more closely at this movie with a lot of big names to see if it will be a hit or if Telugu fans will be disappointed by yet another flop.
Story
After the death of a political godfather, a group of thieves who posed as politicians got more power. When people ask about the next God, a few names are given out, including Brahma, the God’s favourite who was sent away. Sathyapriya is upset with those who suggested Brahma as a replacement. She is the daughter of a powerful politician. Why did Sathyapriya dislike Brahma so much? How did Brahma make things easier for Satyapriya and her family? Just who is he, Jaidev? By the end of the movie, all of these questions will have been answered.

Movie Verdict
The Godfather has all the parts of an epic movie, but the way it was put together looks like it went off in a very different direction. Even though many people know that this is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster “Lucifer,” it may give the impression that the original movie didn’t have as much energy.
Even though Megastar’s second-inning movies don’t live up to expectations, they are still made on a very high budget, which affects the distributors in a roundabout way. Even though the plot of this action thriller is simple, the filmmakers chose unnecessary buildups that made the movie less good. Even though only a few of the original Malayalam characters did what they were supposed to do in the movie, Telugu got rid of them all.
Chiranjeevi has done well in the past, but his most recent movies have bombed, and he is now trying to copy himself. Even though he has a lot of fans who like the way he acts on TV, his acting and line delivery lately have seemed forced. Still, the superstar won over the crowd again with his dance moves to “Thaar Maar.” As usual, Nayanthara was great, and her role gave her the chance to show a wide range of emotions.
The actor plays Satyadev in a role that is demeaning and requires courage, and he does a great job. Salman Khan’s long stay does not serve any purpose. Every other performer did a good job with the part they were given.
The movie The Godfather looks good from a technical point of view.
Thaman’s soundtrack and background music aren’t very good or memorable, especially the background music, which is distracting at times and sounds like a lot of his other work. Nirav Shah does a great job with the cinematography, but the DI should have been stronger because most of the pictures in the movie have colours that are too bright. Megastar fans won’t be excited by many Fights. Even though the production values are great, the visual effects are awful.
Mohan Raja changed the roles of Lakshmi Bhupala and Murali Gopy to make the movie look like a commercial comedy that Telugu people might like. But he didn’t take into account the fact that, thanks to OTT channels, fans can now watch movies from all over the world. Any kind of movie can now appeal to any kind of audience, as long as the subject is right.
Godfather is a mix of things that are good and things that aren’t. On the other hand, this movie has all the commercial elements it needs to appeal to a large number of people.
Plus Points:
- Nayanthara, Satyadev
- Few Political Scenes
- Fights
Minus Points:
- Music, BGM
- Unwanted buildups
Rating: 2.75/5
